Seattle Architecture

This project was aimed at learning how to interpret and create a digital set of drawings and a 3D model from hand-drafted drawings.

Hillclimb Court was designed in 1980 by a Seattle firm, Olson-Walker.  My job was to take their original 2D hand-drafted drawings and re-render them into digital drawings.  I also took the 2D drawings and built a digital model from them in order for Hillclimb Court to use their information more effectively.  It was a very good exercise both digital and hand drafting skills.

Color & Light

This is a series of color studies I did whilst in a class focused on the studies of color and light..  Each project aims to expose the vast and differing effects that color and light can achieve.  Whether through hue, tone, shape or material, light plays a irreplaceable role in the way we perceive color in our world.

Environmental Controls

This aim of this project was to design a school potable as self sufficient as possible. The portable was to be designed in the climate of Phoenix, Arizona.

Chair in Rhino

This was a project designed to give a first glance look at the Rhino design program as well as a look into designing chairs and other objects outside the building realm.

Construction Materials

This project used a paper pulp material to produce a light weight, waterproof sheltering material that could potentially be deployed in disaster situations in which many people would need short term housing.  Over time the paper pulp pods would naturally decompose and not  cause any environmental damage.
